Customer Service Advisor

We're looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our MOJ & Home Office Contract Administration team based in Basingstoke.

Location: Basingstoke – remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required
Hours: Full time, Monday–Friday, shifts between 8:00–18:00 with a 1-hour lunch break


We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll be working within the MOJ & Home Office Contract Administration team, supporting them in delivering an efficient, accurate and professional service to operational, engineering and office-based teams.

Your day to day will include:

  • Raising, allocating, scheduling and completing work orders for reactive works via the CAFAM system
  • Monitoring inboxes, answering calls, capturing service requests and providing updates to customers and stakeholders
  • Liaising with engineers and subcontractors for attendance dates, RAMS, paperwork and progress updates
  • Reviewing and correcting work order details, ensuring accurate data entry, SLA compliance and timely closure
  • Providing administrative support to Contract Managers and contributing to performance improvements across the contract

What are we looking for?

This role of Customer Service Advisor is great for you if:

  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills, with an excellent telephone manner
  • You are IT confident, with good MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook) and high attention to detail
  • You can build and maintain effective working relationships with engineers, subcontractors and internal teams
  • You can manage a fast-paced administrative workload, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy
  • You are able to pass CTC Clearance, required for this role
