Mechanical Package Engineer
We're looking for a Mechanical Package Engineer to join our Natural Resources team based on some large major project sites in Surrey.
Location: Surrey, South East
Contract: Permanent, full time - talk to us about flexible hours
Open to work away from home for part of the week? We'll cover the cost.
Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Package Engineer, you'll be working in our Natural Resources team to provide mechanical expertise on projects at our Surrey sites, which is a project operating within the water industry. You'll implement design solutions, controlling technical delivery, costs, changes and programmes at all stages of projects.
Your day to day will include:
- Technical assurance of Design, engineering, calculations, specifications
- Assisting with preparation of flowsheets and engineering line diagrams and supervising plant layout and pipework design including 3D modelling
- Managing the supplier/contractor procurement process from enquiry to delivery
- Site support during construction and commissioning including field engineering assignments
- Reviewing designs & proposals for conformance with applicable regulatory standards, policies, and codes of practice
What are we looking for?
This Mechanical Engineer role is great for you if have:
- A HND / HNC or equivalent in mechanical engineering
- Experience of mechanical engineering in process related industries in particular the Water Industry; Sewage Works and Water works.
- Specific expertise in the design, layout, engineering and specification of process plant and piping for the Water industry
