Streetworks Administrator

We're looking for Streetworks Administrators to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in Lincoln on a 6 month fixed term contract

 

Location: Lincoln- mixture of home & office working 

Hours: 37 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

 

What will you be responsible for?

You'll be working on our Anglian Water Alliance. The team maintains the water supply systems such as handling emergencies like water bursts, and develops new ways to better serve customers.

 

As a Streetworks Administrator, you'll be working within the Streetworks team, to ensure we consistently meet streetworks legislation to make us the benchmark in the industry. Not only will you keep a close and proactive eye on our notices and permits, you'll also promote and champion the 'be streetwise' strategy and promote the streetworks team throughout the business.

What will your day to day in the role look like?

Your day to day will include:

  • Receive work schedules from scheduling teams or notification of emergency works
  • Liaise with field teams, Highway authorities, schedulers and Traffic Management to ensure required permit, notices and approvals are in place prior to jobs commencing 
  • Efficiently deal with any permit modifications in a timely fashion ensuring internal & external stakeholders are aware
  • Ensure Streetmanager is correctly updated at all stages of the process to avoid non-compliance 
  • Ensure full understanding and buy-in is achieved regarding the role of the streetworks hub play in achieving overall business objectives 

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Streetworks Administrator is great for you if you hold:

  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Computer literate and able to adapt to changes
  • Experience within a similar role/ streetworks or utility experience would be advantageous
