We're looking for an Agent to join our team based in Plymouth.
Location: Plymouth
Hours: 45 hours per week
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
We are seeking an experienced Agent to join our team in Plymouth. This is an exciting opportunity to work on site and project-related matters, acting as a key point of contact and supporting the delivery of construction projects. You'll play a vital role in coordinating activities, managing subcontractor relationships, and ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently.
What will you be responsible for?
As an Agent, you'll be working within the Plymouth team, supporting them in delivering successful project outcomes. Your day to day will include:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, suppliers, and clients on site or project-related matters
- Assisting with contract administration, including reviewing and managing subcontractor agreements and purchase orders
- Monitoring progress and ensuring subcontractors comply with project requirements and deadlines
- Coordinating site inspections, deliveries, and logistics to support construction activities
- Preparing reports, correspondence, and documentation related to project progress and contract matters
What are we looking for?
This role of Agent is great for you if:
- You hold a relevant qualification (Management qualification / NVQ L3 / HNC / Degree) and SSSTS/SMSTS certification
- You have demonstrable experience in construction site administration, contract management, or project coordination
- You have a strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and terminology
- You possess excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail
- You are proficient in MS Office and project management or contract administration software
