We're looking for an Agent to join our Highways team based in Tebay to assist the project team in setting and delivering a high performing contract on the M6 Lune Gorge project.

Location: Tebay - site based
Contract: Permanent Fulltime
Salary: £55,000 - £62,000 per annum + £6,700 annual car allowance + private healthcare + benefits

What will you be responsible for?
As an Agent, you'll specify, schedule and manage the engineering resources (people, and physical assets) to ensure the technical compliance of the assigned scheme to the design specification and to implement the plan safely, on time and to the required quality while maximising customers' satisfaction and gross profit.
Your day to day will include:
· Management of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) matters for areas of direct responsibility
· Manage design & pre-construction, construction to close out to meet all contractual requirements
· Assist the Construction and Quality Managers in ensuring the effective and efficient site management of the project quality objectives. Promote continuous improvement and share good practice at project level and within the business
· To lead, manage and motivate the engineering and design staff on the scheme and to establish its full contribution to the organisation
What are we looking for?
This role of Agent is great if you have:
· Relevant construction related Degree / HNC
· Have knowledge, experience and competency with regards to works on structures and in particular bridges
· Relevant CSCS card and NH passport
