BIM Coordinator
We're looking for a BIM Coordinator to join our KierBAM team based in Plymouth – Devonport Royal Dockyard.
Location: Plymouth – Devonport Royal Dockyard
Hours: 42.5 hours per week

KierBAM is a Joint Venture partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall, currently delivering an exciting redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site in Plymouth. We're seeking a talented and detail-oriented BIM Coordinator to coordinate, manage and assure project information and model-based deliverables to support safe, efficient and compliant project delivery. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic team environment whilst supporting multidisciplinary teams and implementing information management processes.
What will you be responsible for?
As a BIM Coordinator, you'll be working within the KierBAM team, supporting them in delivering digital construction and information management excellence. Your day to day will include:
- Working collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders to support the successful delivery of BIM and information management requirements across the project
- Supporting compliance with project BIM standards, information management processes and ISO 19650 requirements
- Coordinating, reviewing and maintaining project information models, supporting multidisciplinary coordination and information exchange activities
- Undertaking information quality assurance activities to verify that graphical and non-graphical information meets project requirements
- Providing training, guidance and technical support in BIM, digital construction and information management practices to project teams and supply chain partners
What are we looking for?
This role of BIM Coordinator is great for you if:
- You hold a CSCS Card – White/Yellow
- You have demonstrable experience in digital construction and information management, including BIM coordination and model federation
- You have a working knowledge of ISO 19650 information management principles and can interpret key information management documents
- You're proficient in the Autodesk suite, including Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
- You're a strong collaborator with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary and diverse team
