Business Development and Bid Graduate

We're looking for Business Development and Bid Graduate to join our Transportation team based in Manchester.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on our structured graduate development programme. These programmes have been designed to provide you with the experiences and tools needed for progression within your chosen career.  

Locations: Salford Manchester

Starting Salary: £30,000 per annum 

Pathway: Permanent, Full-time 2-year programme, leading to assistant level role upon completion with salary potential of CIRCA £38k  

Starting date: September 2026

What you will beresponsible for?  

As a Business Development and Bid Graduate you'll be an essential part of our Work Winning team, helping to shape the future of construction across the UK. You'll have the chance to work in a variety of teams within the Business Development and Bid field.

 

What will your day-to-day duties include?

  • Supporting the business development team with market and sector research including undertaking competitor analysis and specific opportunity related background research
  • Helping with the maintenance of bidding and pipeline data including CRM and Kier's knowledge bank
  • Assisting the bid team with writing compelling narrative including case studies, which showcase the work delivered by Kier to prospective clients
  • Support the bid team in the management of opportunities across the full opportunity lifecycle including adherence to Kier's bid management processes

We're looking for people due to graduate in 2026, or have recently graduated within the past three years, with any degree.
