What will you be responsible for?

As a Business Development Manager, you'll be across our transportation sectors including highways, rail, aviation and ports, building meaningful relationships with clients, consultants and partners to position Kier for success. This is a results-driven role within our clients and markets team, where collaboration and innovation are at the heart of everything we do. Reporting to the business development director, your day to day will include:

  • Attending industry events, meetings and conferences to promote Kier's capabilities

What are we looking for?

This role of Business Development Manager is ideal if you have:

  • Strong understanding of transportation, highways, infrastructure, or civil engineering procurement, including contracts, frameworks, bid processes, and project opportunities.
  • Established relationships with UK clients and stakeholders, with a solid understanding of the transportation and infrastructure market.
  • Proven ability to build trusted partnerships, identify new business opportunities, and develop long-term client relationships that drive growth.
  • Experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, influencing stakeholders and bringing together expertise to create winning solutions.
  • Self-motivated, commercially minded, and comfortable travelling across the UK, including occasional overnight stays, to support client engagement and business development activities.
