Civil Engineer Graduate Scheme- South

We're looking for Graduate Civil Engineers to join our Infrastructure teams based across various Southern locations.

Locations: Brighton, East Sussex, Plymouth, Luton – With flexibility to travel/relocate across the region

Starting Salary: £31,000 per annum with potential £4,750 car allowance depending on eligibility and project

Pathway: Permanent, Full-time 2-year programme, leading to assistant level role upon completion with salary potential of CIRCA £38k

 What you will be responsible for?  

As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you'll be an essential part of our engineering team, helping to shape the future of construction across the UK. You'll have the chance to work in a variety of teams, either on-site where the action happens or in a design-based role, depending on where your interests lie.

What will your day-to-day duties include?

• Assisting in the preparation and management of project designs, plans, and specifications
• Supporting the development and monitoring of project schedules and budgets. 
• Conducting site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
• Collaborating with project managers and engineers to solve technical issues and ensure project success
• Preparing technical reports, documentation, and providing project updates

What are we looking for?  

We're looking for people due to graduate in 2027, or have recently graduated within the past three years, with a degree (or working towards a degree) which is ICE accredited in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a closely related discipline.

• Demonstrates a genuine interest in pursuing a career in civil engineering and the construction industry, with clear motivation to learn and develop professionally.
• Demonstrates analytical and critical thinking to assess situations and problem solve with strong attention to detail.
• Shows enthusiasm for learning new skills and knowledge, and the ability to adapt in response to feedback.
• Works effectively as part of a team, demonstrating collaboration, reliability, and respect for others.
• Hold a full UK driver license.
