We're looking for a Customer Liaison Officer to join our team based in Norwich.

Location: Norwich
Hours: Full time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Join us in making a positive difference to local communities across Norwich. As a Customer Liaison Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing community engagement, working collaboratively with both internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver a seamless, customer-focused experience. This is your opportunity to be the voice of the customer whilst helping to deliver our capital programme with exemplary stakeholder and community engagement.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Customer Liaison Officer, you'll be working within the team, supporting them in delivering our capital programme whilst being embedded in our community. Your day to day will include:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with community groups, project managers, and delivery teams, ensuring communities are at the heart of project delivery
  • Acting as the first point of contact for communities, taking full accountability for resolving enquiries and complaints to a high standard
  • Developing and implementing effective engagement plans that resonate with diverse audiences and build community awareness and trust
  • Analysing and presenting data-driven insights to stakeholders, influencing decision-making and driving improvements in customer experience
  • Identifying opportunities to increase social value and corporate social responsibility, ensuring projects positively impact communities

What are we looking for?

This role of Customer Liaison Officer is great for you if you:

  • Are experienced in community engagement and stakeholder management within infrastructure, utilities, construction, or a similarly complex environment
  • Have worked on capital programmes or multi-disciplinary projects, collaborating with delivery and operational teams
  • Have strong relationship management skills and an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present complex data
