Electrical Qualifying Supervisor
We're looking for an Electrical Qualifying Engineer to join our team based in London and surrounding areas.
Location: South East region
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
As an Electrical Qualifying Engineer, you'll be part of our maintenance team, delivering high-quality electrical services across multiple client sites in London and the surrounding areas. This role combines technical expertise with the opportunity to develop your professional accreditation, working towards EngTech status. You'll be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant service delivery whilst supporting our commitment to excellence.
What will you be responsible for?
As an Electrical Qualifying Engineer, you'll be working within the maintenance team, supporting them in delivering safe and compliant electrical services. Your day to day will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and minor works across client sites
- Conducting audit checks on in-house electricians and subcontractor electrical works as a Qualifying Supervisor
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on electrical systems and equipment to meet service level targets
- Installing new plant and equipment, ensuring all work meets required standards and specifications
- Maintaining accurate records and condition ratings for the asset management database
What are we looking for?
This role of Electrical Qualifying Engineer is ideal for you if:
- You're a fully qualified electrician holding a JIB/ECS Gold card with NVQ Level 3 (C&G 2360/2330/2356/2357/2382)
- You hold 18th Edition BS7671 and 2391 full test and inspection qualifications, along with AM1 and AM2
- You have up to three years of experience in electrical maintenance and are working towards or hold EngTech accreditation
- You're collaborative and enjoy building strong relationships with colleagues and clients to achieve shared goals
- You're focused on delivering quality work safely, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high professional standards
