This is an exceptional opportunity to provide senior engineering leadership across a major programme, where you'll own design integrity, engineering assurance and buildability across the ILIOS solution. - Developing and implementing engineering, systems integration, assurance and innovation strategies, policies and procedures across ILIOS
- Leading engineering assurance and technical integrity while supporting translation of approved engineering outputs into safe, buildable works packages
- Acting as Temporary Works Designated Individual, ensuring competent appointments, effective procedures and assurance arrangements are in place
- Building and developing engineering capability across ILIOS, promoting consistent ways of working and effective collaboration across partner organisations
What are we looking for?
This role of Engineering Director is great for you if:
- You hold a degree-level qualification or equivalent in engineering or another relevant technical discipline, along with Chartered membership of a relevant professional institution
- You have significant senior leadership experience across major multi-disciplinary engineering, construction, infrastructure, nuclear, energy or complex programme environments
- You bring proven capability in leading technical functions, design management and engineering assurance across multi-disciplinary and multi-organisation teams
- You demonstrate strong understanding of technical risk, compliance, temporary works governance, constructability and safety-led design principles
- You're a collaborative and credible senior leader with excellent communication skills, able to present complex technical matters clearly to executive and non-technical audiences
