Foreman

We're looking for a Foreman to join our team based in Brighton or Chatham.

Location: Brighton or Chatham
Hours: 40 hours per week - this role requires you to be on site for site-based supervision. 

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

As a Foreman, you'll play a vital role in managing safety onsite and ensuring tasks are carried out with the highest level of expertise and skill. This is a hands-on position where you'll coordinate daily operations, support your team, and work collaboratively with colleagues and supply chain partners to deliver excellent results for our clients.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Foreman, you'll be working within the team, supporting them in delivering safe and efficient site operations. Your day to day will include:

  • Managing safety on site, delivering inductions, Toolbox Talks, and Daily Task Briefings to ensure everyone works safely
  • Allocating duties and supervising site operatives to ensure tasks are completed to the highest standards
  • Coordinating site operations and liaising with supply chain partners to maintain Kier's health and safety standards
  • Organising site equipment, plant, and materials to keep works running smoothly
  • Maintaining daily records and contributing to progress reports, RAMS reviews, and work method development

What are we looking for?

This role of Foreman is great for you if:

  • You have practical experience in setting up and running construction sites
  • You hold an NVQ Level 1/2 and a valid CSCS Supervisor card (Gold, Experienced Supervisor or Manager)
  • You have your SSSTS qualification
  • You hold a Full driving licence
  • You're passionate about safety, enjoy working collaboratively, and are focused on delivering results
