We're looking for a Graduate Business Development Assistant to join our water team.

Locations: Nationwide and flexible with location 

Starting Salary: £30,000 per annum 

Pathway: Permanent, Full-time 2-year programme, leading to assistant level role upon completion with salary potential of CIRCA £38k  

Starting date: September 2026  

Virtual Assessment Centre: 5th February 2026

What you will beresponsible for?  

As a Business Development Graduate at Kier, you'll play an essential role in our Work Winning team, helping to shape the future of construction across the UK. You'll gain hands-on experience across a variety of projects, working collaboratively with internal teams.

 

What will your day-to-day duties include?

  • Directly contribute to market research including undertaking competitor analysis, exploring future opportunities, and regulatory research
  • Support the progression of early-stage opportunities in line with Kier's bid management processes, working closely to ensure smooth bid transition
  • Support in optimising Key Account Management activities to strengthen client relationships, including monitoring relationships, tracking engagement actions, and preparing meeting packs
  • Support the improvement of all aspects of the Work Winning function's current processes

We're looking for people due to graduate in 2026, or have recently graduated within the past three years, with any degree.
