We're looking for a Graduate HSW Advisor to join our Kier Places team based in predominately site based in the London region

Location: Predominately site based in the London region
Hours: 40 hours per week
Starting Salary: £31,000 per annum + Car Allowance (on some contracts)
Pathway: Permanent, Full-time 2-year programme, leading to assistant level role upon completion with salary potential of CIRCA £38k
Starting date: September 2027

Kier Places is Kier's building, estate and property management business, delivering end-to-end solutions for places where people live and work. As a Graduate HSW Advisor, you will support the delivery of Kier's Health Safety and Wellbeing objectives across our projects and workplaces. This role is designed for a recent graduate who is passionate about ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of people. Working alongside experienced industry professionals, you will gain exposure to a wide range of facilities management and construction activities through a structured development programme.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Graduate HSW Advisor, you'll be working within the Health Safety and Wellbeing team, supporting them in delivering HSW objectives across projects and workplaces.

Your day to day will include:

• Supporting the development, implementation and monitoring of HSW policies, procedures and standards
• Assisting with safety inspections, advisory visits and workplace tours to ensure governance and assurance
• Supporting the development and review of risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work
• Promoting positive safety behaviours through engagement with employees, subcontractors and stakeholders
• Contributing to the development and delivery of HSW training, inductions and toolbox talks

This role of Graduate HSW Advisor is great for you if:

• You hold a degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Health & Environment, Environmental Health, Environmental Management, Occupational Hygiene, Construction Management or Civil Engineering
• You have a genuine interest in developing a career within Safety, Health and Wellbeing
• You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with people at all levels
• You demonstrate excellent organisation and attention to detail with the ability to analyse information and identify practical solutions
• Digitally fluent with modern workplace technologies and software platforms
  Hold a full UK driving licence
