Handover Coordinator
We're looking for a Handover Coordinator to join our Thames Water team based in Isleworth & Surrey.
Location: Isleworth & Surrey
Hours: 40 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
As a Handover Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting project teams across a diverse portfolio. You'll coordinate handover activities, maintain accurate records and trackers, and help teams interpret client close-out procedures and governance requirements. Working alongside the Handover Manager, client Asset Integration team, supply chain, and site operational teams, you'll monitor progress, highlight potential risks, and support the successful delivery of project takeover. This is an opportunity to make a real impact on strategic infrastructure projects with Thames Water, including key sites such as Mogden and Hogsmill STW.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Handover Coordinator, you'll be working within the Thames Water team, supporting them in delivering timely and effective project takeover. Your day to day will include:
- Coordinating with stakeholders to monitor progress against takeover programme obligations and escalating risks appropriately
- Communicating handover requirements to design and construction teams, maintaining clear records of responsibilities and progress
- Supporting the production of project governance documentation and ensuring contractually required documents are tracked and progressed
- Working with Design, Quality and Information Management teams to ensure final documentation is complete and meets required standards
- Maintaining handover records, submissions and actions in accordance with Kier and client gateways, providing timely updates to project teams
What are we looking for?
This role of Handover Coordinator is great for you if:
- You hold a Full driving licence, or will have obtained one before the start date
- You're a confident and effective communicator, able to build productive working relationships across project teams
- You have experience supporting project delivery, handover, quality, information management or document control within construction or infrastructure
- You have strong coordination, organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage records, actions and deadlines across multiple projects
- You have sound judgement and practical problem-solving skills, with the confidence to identify issues and escalate them appropriately
We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome! So, even if you don't tick every box, please apply and we can have a chat.
