Head of Quality
We're looking for a Head of Quality to join our Major Projects team based at Hinkley Point C.
Location: Hinkley Point C, Somerset - remote working available, with travel to the office required
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?
As Head of Quality, you'll be working within the Major Projects, supporting them in ensuring that project and contract outputs, consistently meet or exceed customer expectations, Compliance to internal and external standards, and they are instrumental in maintaining the overall assurance strategy.
Your day to day will include:
- Developing and implementing quality business unit level assurance plans and processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality controls into all stages
of the delivery process. - Identifying potential risks to quality and work on strategies to mitigate them and develop contingency plans for addressing unforeseen quality issues.
- Evaluating and monitoring the quality of materials and services provided by suppliers and work with suppliers to address and resolve quality issues.
- Providing training to the teams on quality standards, procedures, and best practices, ensuring business unit level inductions take place and are effective to the needs of the
BU and work with teams to develop a culture of quality consciousness.
What are we looking for?
This role of Head of Quality is great for you if:
- You have experience directing and managing Business or Quality Assurance including Management Systems in a construction/non-construction environment
- You are Lead Auditor in one or more of the ISO Standards (9001, 14001, 45001).
- You have good knowledge of current SHEA legislation and Standards
