What will you be responsible for?
As a Landscape Specialist, you'll be working within the Environment and Sustainability team, supporting them in delivering landscape design, nature-based solutions, natural capital and climate resilience capability. You'll initially provide Landscape Clerk of Works service on a high-profile landscape-led major highways project in Gloucestershire, overseeing vast areas of woodland planting and grassland creation including the planting of a green bridge and several wildlife crossings. Your day to day will include:

  • Overseeing the delivery of landscape designs ensuring adherence to specification, drawings, and the LEMP
  • Conducting pre and post planting inspections, establishment reviews, and assurance of soils and planting pit construction
  • Leading and inputting into client, stakeholder and technical meetings
  • Overseeing contractors onsite and providing independent assurance alongside client sign-off
  • Contributing to bids and fee proposals whilst actively promoting environmental principles and best practice

What are we looking for?

  • You have an environmental or landscape related degree or equivalent experience
  • You're a member of an environmental or landscape professional body such as ISEP, LI, or similar
  • You have a strong understanding of landscape design, specifications and delivery, including standards such as LA107 and LD117
  • You have experience overseeing landscape delivery on large construction projects and stakeholder engagement
  • You hold a Full driving licence and CSCS card
