Management Accountant
We're looking for a Management Accountant to join our Strategic Projects team based in Glasgow.
Location: Glasgow – Hybrid working available with a requirement to be on site or office 4 days per week
Hours: Full time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the HMP Glasgow project, a £750m development delivered over four years. You'll work closely with the Project Director and Commercial Director to provide financial reporting and controls on this key project. This role offers strong connections across Kier's Strategic Projects division and the North & Scotland region, providing excellent opportunities for development and progression.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Management Accountant, you'll be working within the Strategic Projects team, supporting them in delivering financial excellence across this major project. Your day to day will include:
- Providing financial reporting and controls, working closely with the Project Director and Commercial Director
- Managing cash flow, working capital, and payment controls through the project bank account
- Delivering timely and accurate month-end reporting with detailed cost control and governance
- Managing on-site finance controls including purchase to pay, receipts, VAT and other taxes
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the wider Management Accounting function

This role of Management Accountant is great for you if:
- You're a fully qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience
- You can produce high quality management information with strong attention to detail
- You're computer literate with strong systems skills
- You're capable of liaising with, supporting and influencing operational and commercial management
- You can work on your own initiative and thrive in a fast-paced, practical environment
