Management Accountant

We're looking for a Management Accountant to join our Transportation team based in Easton Lane, Winchester.  This role blends core Accounting with commercial insight and systems improvement.

Location: Easton Lane, Winchester - travel to the office required with some remote working available

Hours: Permanent Fulltime 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 per year + benefits

What will you be responsible for?

As a Management Accountant, you'll assist the team with financial reporting, commercial finance, and data analysis.

Your day to day will include:

• Ensuring accurate revenue and cost recognition and delivering meaningful site-level P&L and margin analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
• Raising purchase orders and dealing with supplier queries.
• Monitor and analyse costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements as well as attend CVR reviews ensuring a true cost value position is understood.

What are we looking for?

This role of Management Accountant is great if you:

• Are Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Can demonstrate strong attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to meet deadlines while working independently and at times collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in using Power BI or similar reporting tools.
