Operative

We're looking for Operatives to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in Norwich, working on the Anglian Water Alliance 

 

Location: Norwich/ Ipswich 

Hours: 45 hours per week 

 

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

 

In this role you will be working on the Anglian Water contract in the IMRDS team (integrated maintenance, repair and developer services). The team maintenance the water supply, repairs emergencies like water bursts and develops new ways to better service customers.

 

What will you be responsible for?

As an Operative, you'll be working within the planned works team, to enable Kier to deliver small and large projects maintaining, repairing and upgrading Anglian Water's network.

 

Your day to day will include:

  • Working as part of a three person team you will learn the role in the clean water utilities indsutry of laying new water mains and installing mains fittings on the clean water network
  • Responsible for maintaining high health & safety standards, escalating any changes to the supervisor
  • Working with small and large teams of people on projects of various sizes and complexity 

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Operative is great for you if you hold:

  • Full driving licence
  • Keen to learn this role within the water industry
