Planner

Kier Group are looking for a Construction Planner to join our Strategic Projects team on a major project in the Defence sector at RAF Cranwell in Lincolnshire.

 

Location: Cranwell, Sleaford

Contract: Full time, Permanent

*We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

 

What will you be doing?

As a Planner your role will entail:

  • All aspects of planning, phasing, programming and sequencing for tendering, including the coordination of design, commercial and production into one truly Integrated Programme.
  • Creation of look ahead programmes, individual trade package programmes.
  • Monitor and update progress and undertake regular progress monitoring drop lines. 
  • Developing ideas to drive improvement and consistency in the timely delivery of our preconstruction preferred bids and our live projects. 
  • Supporting and mentoring project leads to ensure they have the technical software skills to produce their own regular look ahead programmes.
  • Advise on the affect of any project slippage on existing programmes and update accordingly.
  • Work closely with Project teams to assist in the production of accurate progress reports.

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Planner is great for you if you can demonstrate:

  • Relevant construction or engineering qualification (HND Level Min)
  • Relevant construction planning experience gained within the main / management contracting environment 
  • Experience in the Use of Asta Power Project
  • Full UK Driving License
