Quality Engineer
We're looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Severn Trent Contract based in Wanlip
Location: Wanlip
Hours: 45 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Quality Engineer you'll be working our Severn Trent Contract, supporting them in ensuring quality standards are not just met, but exceeded, across a diverse range of major project works including civils, earthworks, piling, reinforced concrete, cladding, MEICA, and internal fit-out.
Your day to day will include:

Implementing and monitored QA processes, ensuring compliance with project procedures, standards, and Inspection Test Plans.

Conducting site inspections, audits, and quality surveillance to verify compliance with specifications, drawings, and QMS requirements.

Managing Non-Conformance Reports and product quarantine processes through to resolution.

Overseeing product traceability and approvals, including Certificates of Conformity and Material Acceptance Forms.

Maintaining accurate quality records and document control using digital tools (Dalux, Asite).

Partnering with delivery teams, suppliers, and client representatives to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement.
What are we looking for?
This role of Quality Engineer is great for you if:

You have previous experience as a Quality Engineer or Project Engineer on major construction projects.

You have strong knowledge of quality control processes in construction, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

You are a confident communicator with the ability to build collaborative relationships across teams, clients, and stakeholders.

You are detail-focused, and disciplined in maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance.

You hold a CSCS card
