Quality Manager

We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to join our A417 Missing Link Project in Gloucester, where you will lead and manage all quality control activities across the project's operations.

Location: Gloucester – travel to the office required, with agile working available

Contract: Permanent Fulltime, flexible hours available if desired, just let us know

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per year + £5.9k annual car allowance + private healthcare + benefits

 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Quality Control Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring that all products, services, and processes comply with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Your day to day will include:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality control systems and procedures for onsite works
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and sampling activities to monitor compliance with quality standards
  • Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO 9001)
  • Lead internal and external audits, and coordinate responses and action plans

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Quality Control Manager is great for you if have:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quality Management, Engineering, Science, or related discipline
  • Proven experience in a quality control and process improvements within a management role
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, tools, and methodologies (e.g. ISO standards, Six Sigma, Lean)
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification or similar
