As a Design Manager, you'll play a key role in coordinating the development and delivery of multidisciplinary design information for water and wastewater projects. This is a collaborative position focused on design coordination, programme management, information flow and stakeholder engagement. You'll work closely with designers, project delivery teams, clients, suppliers and construction colleagues to ensure design information is complete, coordinated, buildable and issued in line with project requirements. As a Design Manager, you'll be working within the water and wastewater team, supporting them in delivering successful project outcomes. Your day to day will include:
- Coordinating design activities across civil, mechanical, electrical, process and other relevant disciplines
- Using Autodesk Construction Cloud to manage design documents, review comments, approval workflows and controlled information
- Organising and facilitating design coordination meetings, recording decisions, actions and completion dates
- Working with the planning team to align design activities with the project programme and construction needs
- Building effective working relationships with clients, designers, construction teams, suppliers and other project stakeholders
What are we looking for?
This role of Design Manager is great for you if:
- You have an engineering, construction or related qualification, or equivalent relevant experience
- You have experience coordinating design information or multidisciplinary project deliverables in a construction, infrastructure, engineering or utilities environment
- You have practical experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud for document management, design reviews, comments, workflows and approvals
- You have strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and meet deadlines
