We're looking for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join our Kier Mechanical & Electrical team based on a large scale project in the Custodial sector.

Location: Shaftesbury, Dorset.
Hours: Full Time permanent - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you'll be working within the Kier Mechanical & Electrical team, supporting them in delivering effective electrical project engineering services. Your day to day will include:

  • Ensuring all works are procured, planned and carried out safely in accordance with standards and requirements
  • Reviewing designs with teams and clients to ensure they are optimised for efficient and safe construction
  • Managing robust change control, risk and opportunity, and implementing quality control procedures
  • Providing accurate and timely information to the project management team for site progress and financial reporting
  • Leading project team members within your area of control, setting clear expectations and offering guidance to maximise performance

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Electrical Project Engineer is great for you if:

  • You are technically proficient in electrical services and safety and hold a relevant industry accredited qualification
  • You have CSCS and SMSTS accreditation
  • You have demonstrable experience in managing electrical works packages collaboratively within a project team
  • You can communicate clearly and regularly with others, creating an environment where everyone's perspectives are valued
  • You understand budgets and commercial priorities, making sound decisions based on clear criteria and facts
