Hours: 40 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Engineer, you'll be working within the Design team, supporting them in delivering coordinated and sustainable engineering solutions. You'll be delivering high-quality, compliant, and sustainable drainage and water solutions across a range of exciting projects. Your day to day will include:

  • Managing programme, budget, and risk commitments for your work packages, escalating issues where needed
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure integrated and efficient design delivery
  • Providing line management and mentoring to graduates or apprentices, supporting their technical development
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of team practices, standards, and delivery quality

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Engineer – Drainage and Water is great for you if:

  • You have demonstrated experience delivering drainage and water design packages with a high degree of technical autonomy
  • You're confident managing the technical delivery of work packages, including programme awareness, cost control, and proactive risk management
  • You enjoy working collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams and engaging effectively with stakeholders
  • You have a track record of producing high-quality, compliant engineering outputs in line with relevant standards and regulations
  • You hold a full driving licence and are willing to travel as required
