Senior MEP Project Manager

We're looking for a Senior MEP Project Manager to join our Kier Mechanical & Electrical team delivering a large scale project in the Custodial sector.

 

Location: Shaftesbury, Dorset
Hours: Full Time Permanent - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior MEP Project Manager, you'll be working within the Kier Mechanical & Electrical team, supporting them in delivering complex MEP design and build projects. Your day to day will include:

  • Leading pre-construction and construction activities for projects up to £45m, ensuring delivery within budget, to programme and quality expectations
  • Promoting a strong safety, health and environmental culture across all project activities
  • Managing subcontractors and suppliers, building collaborative relationships and ensuring performance standards are met
  • Overseeing design management, programme delivery and quality compliance in line with project execution plans
  • Maintaining excellent client relationships through clear communication and regular reporting on project progress

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Project Manager is great for you if:

  • You hold a CSCS card and SMSTS qualification, with relevant qualifications or demonstrable experience in managing operational projects
  • You have proven experience as a Project Manager with strong knowledge of contract conditions and construction law
  • You possess excellent communication skills and can influence effectively at all levels to achieve high client satisfaction
  • You have sound commercial awareness and a proactive approach to health, safety and risk management
  • You understand construction methods, design and build processes, and are confident using planning software
