Senior Planner

We're looking for a Senior Planner to join our construction team based in Leeds.

Location: Leeds -  Flexibility for some hybrid working  Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We're excited to welcome a Senior Planner to our planning team in Leeds. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with project teams, guiding them through the development of realistic construction programmes from tender through to successful delivery. Your expertise will help ensure our projects run smoothly, on time, and to the highest standards.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Planner, you'll be working within the planning team, supporting them in delivering exceptional project outcomes. Your day to day will include:

  • Developing integrated programmes for tender activities, coordinating design, commercial and production elements
  • Creating and maintaining look-ahead programmes and individual trade package programmes
  • Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to ensure timely delivery
  • Supporting and mentoring project leads to enhance their planning and software skills
  • Advising on the impact of project changes and updating programmes accordingly

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Planner is great for you if:

  • You're experienced in planning software such as Primavera P6, Asta or Microsoft Project
  • You have demonstrable experience working on build tenders and live projects with a main contractor
  • You possess strong knowledge of NEC and JCT Contract Conditions
  • You have excellent communication skills and enjoy collaborating across teams in an advisory capacity
  • You're highly organised with a keen eye for detail and able to manage multiple concurrent projects
