We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our United Utilities Framework based across the North West of England

Location: North West of England
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

An exciting opportunity to support the delivery of United Utilities' largest AMP experienced to date. You'll be part of a collaborative team delivering a diverse portfolio of projects, including wastewater treatment plant upgrades, chemical removal projects, bio-resource enhancements, and bathing water improvements. This role offers day-to-day commercial responsibility from inception to completion, supported by a dedicated team working towards shared goals.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the United Utilities AMP8 Enterprise Framework Programme team, supporting them in delivering a portfolio of works to the highest standards.

Your day to day will include:

  • Managing budgets, costs and commercial elements whilst driving profit and cash flow
  • Overseeing procurement, subcontract management and change control procedures
  • Monitoring and forecasting project costs and value, preparing monthly applications for payment
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Supporting and developing junior team members to help them reach their potential

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

  • You have demonstrable experience in a similar role within civils or utilities contracts
  • You have strong experience working with NEC contracts and Target Costs
  • You hold a degree in Quantity Surveyor and are working towards or have attained professional membership
  • You possess excellent communication skills with client facing attributes
  • You hold a Full driving licence
