SHE Advisor

We're looking for a Scaffold Inspector / SHE Advisor to join our Health, Safety and Environment team based in Glasgow / Scotland – working across sites.

Location: Glasgow / Scotland – working across sites
Hours: 40 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

This is a fantastic opportunity to combine specialist scaffold inspection expertise with the development of broader Safety, Health and Environmental advisory skills. You'll take the lead on scaffold inspection activities across designated projects whilst supporting our SHE team in delivering health and safety initiatives. This role is ideal for an experienced scaffolding professional who wishes to develop a long-term career within health and safety management.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Scaffold Inspector / SHE Advisor, you'll be working within the Health, Safety and Environment team, supporting them in ensuring compliance and promoting a positive safety culture. Your day to day will include:

• Leading statutory scaffold inspections and verifying compliance with regulations and company standards
• Reviewing scaffold designs, handover certificates and inspection records, producing detailed reports
• Conducting site safety inspections and workplace audits to maintain compliance
• Supporting incident and near-miss investigations, delivering toolbox talks and SHE briefings
• Liaising with project teams, scaffold contractors and stakeholders to provide technical advice on scaffold safety

What are we looking for?

This role of Scaffold Inspector / SHE Advisor is great for you if:

• You have significant experience within scaffolding operations, inspection or management
• You hold a CISRS Advanced Scaffold Inspection qualification
• You have a detailed understanding of Work at Height Regulations, TG20, SG4 and Temporary Works procedures
• You possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence teams
• You hold a Full driving licence
