Site Engineer

We're looking for a Site Engineer to join our EKFB West Street team based in Calvert.

Location: Calvert
Hours: 45 hrs per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Site Engineer, you'll be working within the EKFB West Street team, supporting them in delivering engineering excellence on HS2. You'll provide day-to-day engineering control to enable safe, right-first-time delivery of works. You'll support the team by carrying out setting out, checks, permits support and technical problem-solving, while coordinating inspections and testing to ensure quality evidence and as-built records are captured progressively.

Your day to day will include:

• Site engineering, dimensional control and technical delivery
• Managing materials, logistics and traceability to ensure HS2 compliance
• Handling defects, technical queries and change control
• Maintaining records, reporting and information management
• Supporting as-built, sectional completion and handover activities

What are we looking for?

This role of Site Engineer is great for you if:

• You have experience in setting out for earthworks and drainage
• You have experience in collecting information for as-built and quality purposes
• You have experience in completion activities including final inspections, snagging and reinstatements
• You enjoy working collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to reach innovative solutions
• You are clear and disciplined in your approach and thorough in how you deliver
