Stores Controller

We're looking for a Stores Controller to join our Transportation team at our Wymondham, Norfolk site. In this role, you'll manage the day-to-day operations of the stores within the Kier Highways Solutions Wymondham plant. Could this be you?

Location: Wymondham, Norfolk – site-based, 5 days per week
Hours: Permanent, Full-time, 45 hours per week

What will you be responsible for?

As a Stores Controller, you'll work closely with the factory team to ensure sales orders are fulfilled and customers receive excellent service.

Your day to day will include:

• Inducting visitors, customers, and sub-contractors to site, ensuring compliance with PPE guidelines and site rules
• Operation of site access and egress system, and operation of weighbridge
• Coordinating with the Factory Supervisor to arrange bulk and packed goods collections promptly
• Processing material collections using the Business Central IT system
• Loading and unloading curtain-sider HGVs, couriers, and customer vehicles
• Maintaining and replenishing stores to meet order requirements

What are we looking for?

This role of Stores Controller is perfect if you have:

• A forklift licence (training can be provided if needed)
• A methodical, proactive, and motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
