Supervisor

We're looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team based in Picketts Lock Lane, London.

Location: Picketts Lock Lane, London – hybrid working
Hours: Permanent Fulltime 42 hours per week. We can offer some flexibility on working hours, so let us know what works for you when you speak with us
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per year + company van + benefits

Are you an experienced supervisor with a background in highways maintenance or construction? We're looking for a proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead site teams, coordinate programmes of work, and help deliver safe, high-quality highways maintenance services across London.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you'll support the delivery of reactive, routine, and minor highways works, helping to keep projects on track and teams working safely. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Planning, scheduling and overseeing works to achieve contractual performance targets and KPIs
• Carrying out site safety inspections and promoting a strong health and safety culture
• Leading, mentoring and developing site teams to support skills growth and career progression
• Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations, traffic management requirements, and environmental standards
• Working closely with supply chain partners to drive continuous improvement and share best practice across health and safety

What are we looking for?

This role of Maintenance Supervisor is ideal for someone who enjoys leading teams, driving safe working practices, and making a visible impact on vital highways infrastructure projects across London.  This role could be a great fit if you have:

• A Site Safety Management qualification, such as SMSTS or SSSTS
• Previous supervisory experience within highways maintenance, construction, or civil engineering environments
• A full UK driving licence, NRSWA Supervisor card, and LGV licence
• Knowledge of fleet management and O Licence compliance requirements
• Good IT skills, including confidence using Excel and other business systems
