We're looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our London & Thames Valley team based in Chiswell Street.

Location: Chiswell Street, London (supporting across the London & Thames Valley business)
Hours: 37.5 per week

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

We're seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to provide strategic leadership across our supply chain and procurement function. This role is key to ensuring goods, materials, services, and information move efficiently from suppliers to customers whilst balancing cost, speed, quality, and risk. Working primarily in a strategic capacity rather than purely operational, you'll contribute to business growth, sustainability, resilience, and day-to-day supply chain management within a complex urban logistics environment.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Supply Chain Manager, you'll be working within the Commercial team, supporting them in delivering strategic supply chain excellence. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Providing strategic leadership across end-to-end supply chain and procurement, ensuring optimal balance between cost, service excellence, and risk management
  • Leading category management and sourcing strategies aligned with organisational priorities, commercial objectives, and sustainable procurement goals
  • Establishing and maintaining strategic supplier partnerships through robust relationship management, commercial negotiation, and contract governance
  • Leading supply chain transformation initiatives including process optimisation, digital procurement improvements, and sustainability programmes
  • Developing and inspiring a high-performing team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional development across the function

What are we looking for?

This role of Supply Chain Manager is great for you if:

  • You're CIPS qualified or equivalent with significant procurement experience in building products, preferably gained in construction or civil engineering
  • You have a demonstrable track record of best-in-class supply chain delivery with strong negotiation skills and national supplier management experience
  • You're a skilled communicator with experience managing stakeholders at director level and across operational teams
  • You have proven experience in portfolio and contract management, including vendor management, performance reporting, and category management principles
  • You're a collaborative influencer experienced in navigating complex client, supply chain, and stakeholder landscapes within a large organisation

We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferable skills are always welcome! So, even if you don't tick every box, please apply and we can have a chat.
