Systems & Data Manager

We're looking for a Systems & Data Manager to join our Anglian Water team based in the East Anglia region

 

Location: Can be based within the East Anglia region- Norfolk/ Lincolnshire/ Northamptonshire- mixture of office and visiting various sites within the region, and home working  

Hours: 45 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

 

In this role you will be working on the Integrated Maintenance, Repair and Development Services (IMRDS) alliance. The team maintain the water supply systems, repairs emergencies like water bursts and develops new ways to better service customers. 

 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Systems & Data Manager, you'll be working within the Capital main laying team, who are committed to delivering high-quality, efficient solutions for critical infrastructure projects.

 

In this role you will play a crucial role in identifying risks, opportunities, and innovative solutions across a wide portfolio of water mains replacement schemes.

 

Your day to day will include:

  • Conducting holistic assessments of assets and infrastructure to promote investment and identify efficiencies
  • Developing tailored project solutions, considering environmental constraints, hydraulic modelling, and operational needs
  • Scoping and enabling schemes by assessing planning risks, environmental factors and third party interfaces (e.g. highways)
  • Managing internal & external stakeholder relationshops to ensure a smooth transition through each project phase- from investigation and solution development to delivery
  • Leading investment governance reviews, ensuring strategies align with business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes 
  • Reviewing new construction innovations that enhance efficiency and optimise delivery programmes 

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Systems & Data Manager is great for you if you hold:

  • Knowledge of water network operations and/ or construction
  • Experience in designing, planning or delivering infrastructure or capital projects
  • An understanding of cost estimation and investment governance processes
  • Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to develop and assess risk/ benefit solutions
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A forward-thinking approach with a passion for continuous improvement
