Systems Support Technician

We're looking for a Systems Support Technician to join our Business System Team.

Location: Flexible and remote working options available.

Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

 

What will you be responsible for?

Within this role, you will ensure the effective operation of business systems by providing technical system support to a range of systems. As part of a busy Business Systems Team, you will carry out a range of system administration and coordination tasks and handle, or triage, queries from end users and clients across operational teams.

To succeed in this role, you should be enthusiastic and curious about systems, enabling you to advocate for their use and champion ongoing improvements in implementation.

Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Managing the systems in line with our Standard Operating Procedures,
  • Liaising with the central Business Systems Team to get new projects onboarded,
  • Creating new projects on systems, coordinate and undertake onboarding sessions with end users,
  • Undertake system configuration and setup of amended or new templates, coordinating with site teams to ensure they are specific to scopes of work,
  • Deal with technical email responses triaged from central mailboxes,
  • Undertake system training and gather end user feedback,
  • Assist with an emerging growth of aftercare activities on systems and subcontractor engagement,
  • Support with the configuration of snagging for projects,
  • Assist in the set up of integrations between systems,
  • Perform testing of new feature developments.

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Systems Support Technician is great for you if you have:

  • A proactive and curious mindset, with a willingness to learn and understand quality management systems, access control systems and new systems that are aligned to digital strategy,
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and systems in a busy team,
  • You must be confident and enjoy using technology, ideally with experience of Procore Quality Management and Project Management Tools or alternative Quality/Field Management Systems,
  • You must be approachable, friendly and willing to undertake routine tasks aligned with standard processes.
