We're looking for an Agent to join our team based in South West England working on our collaborative delivery framework (CDF) with the Environment Agency. 

 

Location: South West England

Hours: 45 hours per week 

 

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

 

We're looking for an experienced Agent to manage our site operations, leading operatives, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver projects on time and within budget. You'll play a vital role in delivering flood and coastal risk management projects ensuring compliance with our health, safety and environmental management systems whilst supporting the Project Manager in achieving our construction goals.

 

What will you be responsible for?

 

As an Agent, you'll be working within the team, supporting them in delivering construction projects safely and efficiently. 

 

Your day to day will include:

  • Managing operatives, subcontractors and suppliers on site
  • Producing and reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
  • Ensuring Quality Assurance procedures are implemented and maintaining accurate records of labour, plant and materials
  • Creating lookahead programmes and assisting with contract programme updates
  • Identifying risks, technical queries and change, whilst supporting the team with Early Warning Notices

 

What are we looking for?

 

This role of Agent is great for you if you hold:

 

  • NVQ Level 3, HNC, Degree, or Management qualification
  • SMSTS certification and a full driving licence
  • Demonstrable experience in successfully managing construction works
  • Strong commercial and environmental awareness
