Architect
We're looking for an Architect to join our Kier Design team based in Lincoln.
Location: Lincoln
Hours: Full-time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Kier Design has recently entered the top 25 of Building Consultancy companies in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and growing team engaged across a wide range of sectors. You'll work alongside and assist in the leadership of a design team, producing high quality design work, comprehensive and co-ordinated detailed drawings and specifications. This role offers the chance to make a real impact, directing team members through all stages of design and construction whilst promoting technical excellence.
What will you be responsible for?
As an Architect, you'll be working within the Kier Design team, supporting them in delivering exceptional design work across diverse projects. Your day to day will include:
- Leading on substantial and complex projects, managing and co-ordinating teams to ensure effective delivery of work programmes
- Participating in the detailed design process and producing co-ordinated design information including concept and detailed drawings
- Evaluating and advising on environmental, legal and regulatory issues, and contributing to commercial bids and planning applications
- Taking responsibility for the commercial performance of projects under your control and administering contracts including JCT and NEC suites
- Preparing detailed plans and resource schedules to match workload forecasts and support the team nationally through flexible working
What are we looking for?
This role of Architect is great for you if:
- You're a qualified Architect (preferably Chartered) with excellent design capabilities and technical detailing skills
- You have experience of team management and can demonstrate leadership within a collaborative environment
- You're highly competent in REVIT and BIM, with knowledge of AutoCAD, Twinmotion, Adobe Design Suite and NBS specifications
- You have experience of contract administration, site supervision, project management and CDMC regulations
- You're effective in building positive client relationships and can work to programme and agreed deadlines whilst managing projects commercially
