This is an excellent opportunity to join our Water sector team, working on wastewater treatment schemes of varying sizes across the Severn Trent Water Frameworks. You'll play a vital role in ensuring that all new, upgraded, or refurbished wastewater assets are accurately captured, validated, and integrated into corporate systems. Working collaboratively with project managers, designers, contractors, and operational teams, you'll ensure that asset information meets organisational standards and supports long-term operational, regulatory, and investment needs.
What will you be responsible for?
As an Asset Data Analyst, you'll be working within the Asset Management team, supporting them in delivering accurate and compliant asset data across our capital programme.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Overseeing asset data requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with standards from design through to handover
- Reviewing and validating design submissions, asset schedules, technical drawings, O&M manuals, and as-built information before acceptance into corporate systems
- Ensuring new or modified assets are correctly added to Enterprise Asset Management, Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, and Geographic Information Systems platforms
- Working collaboratively with contractors, consultants, and internal project teams to ensure asset data expectations are understood and met
- Identifying opportunities to streamline asset data workflows, templates, and assurance processes across the capital programme
What are we looking for?
This role of Asset Data Analyst is great for you if:
- You have experience interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, asset schedules, and technical specifications
- You're familiar with EAM/CMMS systems and GIS used in water utilities
- You possess strong analytical skills with tools such as SQL, Power BI, or advanced Excel
- You have excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies in technical data
- You have strong communication skills for working with designers, contractors, and operational teams
