  • Setting up safe working sites on the highway and liaising with members of the public
  • Following safe systems of work, risk assessments, and safety procedures at all times
  • Completing safety-critical emergency works when required
  • Maintaining accurate paperwork including LOLER check sheets and HAVS forms

What are we looking for?

This role of Highways Maintenance Operative is great for you if:

  • You hold City & Guilds NPTC/Lantra chainsaw and stump grinding qualifications
  • You have NRSWA or equivalent operative qualification
  • You're qualified in CAT & Genny and have practical experience using them
  • You hold NPORS (or equivalent) lorry loader with clamshell and timber grab attachments
  • You hold a full driving licence

We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome! So, even if you don't tick every box, please apply and we can have a chat.
