Building Services Manager
We're looking for a Building Services Manager to join our Regional Operations team based in Glasgow / Scotland.
Location: Glasgow / Scotland
Hours: 40 Hours P/W - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
Join our team as a Building Services Manager, where you'll provide essential building services expertise across projects from tender through to delivery and commissioning. You'll act as our in-house subject matter expert, working collaboratively with project teams and external partners to ensure excellence in MEP delivery across the region.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Building Services Manager, you'll be working within the Regional Operations team, supporting them in delivering technical expertise and compliance across multiple projects. Your day to day will include:
- Assisting with the selection and management of specialist sub-contractors to ensure delivery against Kier standards
- Working closely with design teams to manage M&E packages and review technical submittals
- Managing coordination of M&E services on sites and checking quality of installations
- Taking responsibility for the commissioning process and compliance of as built and maintenance manuals
- Providing technical advice and solutions to project teams throughout the build phase
What are we looking for?
This role of Building Services Manager is great for you if:
- You have strong technical knowledge of M&E design and installations, including modern mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems
- You're qualified in a mechanical or electrical discipline to degree level or equivalent (NVQ/HND/HNC/CIBSE)
- You have experience working in a main contracting environment, managing specialist sub-contract partners
- You've delivered large building services packages valued at £5M+ throughout the full project lifecycle
- You hold SMSTS, CSCS Card and a Full driving licence, as significant travel will be required
