Building Services Manager
We're looking for a Building Services Manager to join our Scotland team based in Stepps/Dalkeith on a hybrid basis.
Location: Scotland - Stepps/Dalkeith - Hybrid
Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
Join our Scotland team as a Building Services Manager, where you'll provide essential building services expertise across projects from tender through to delivery and commissioning. You'll act as our in-house subject matter expert, working collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance, quality, and successful delivery of MEP elements across varied projects.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Building Services Manager, you'll be working within the Scotland team, supporting them in delivering building services excellence across multiple projects. Your day to day will include:
- Providing technical expertise and advice to bids, pre-construction, and onsite delivery teams
- Selecting, appointing, and managing specialist subcontractors to deliver against Kier standards
- Working closely with design teams to manage M&E packages and coordinate services on site
- Managing the commissioning process and ensuring compliance of as-built and maintenance manuals
- Reviewing technical submittals and checking quality of installations by subcontractors
What are we looking for?
This role of Building Services Manager is great for you if:
- You have strong technical knowledge of M&E design and installations with a good understanding of modern mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems
- You have demonstrable experience working in a main contracting environment, managing specialist subcontract partners
- You have proven experience delivering substantial building services packages and working throughout the full project lifecycle
- You're qualified in a Mechanical or Electrical Discipline at Degree level or equivalent (NVQ/HND/HNC/CIBSE)
- You hold SMSTS 5 Day Cert, CSCS Card, and a Full driving licence
