Building Services Manager
We're looking for a Building Services Manager to join our team based in Waterbeach, Cambridge.
Location: Waterbeach, Cambridge
Hours: Full time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We're looking for a Building Services Manager to join our team and provide expert technical guidance across our projects. You'll be the go-to person for building services expertise, working collaboratively with teams from tender stage right through to delivery and handover. This is a brilliant opportunity to make a real impact across multiple projects, supporting teams with your knowledge and helping to shape successful outcomes.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Building Services Manager, you'll be working within the team, supporting them in delivering high-quality building services across varied projects. Your day to day will include:
- Assisting with the selection of sub-contractors and reviewing technical submittals to support bids and pre-construction phases
- Working closely with Design Teams to manage specific M&E packages and coordinate services on site
- Checking the quality of installations by sub-contractors to ensure compliance with design and specifications
- Managing the commissioning process and ensuring compliance of as-built and maintenance manuals
- Providing technical advice and support to project teams, finding solutions to challenges during the build phase
What are we looking for?
This role of Building Services Manager is great for you if:
- You have strong technical knowledge of M&E Design and Installations with a good understanding of modern Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC systems
- You're qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Discipline at Degree level or equivalent (NVQ/HND/HNC/CIBSE)
- You have experience working within a main contracting environment, managing specialist sub-contract partners
- You have demonstrable experience of working throughout the full project lifecycle from tender through to delivery and handover
- You hold SMSTS 5 Day Cert, CSCS Card and a Full driving licence
