Cleaner
We're looking for a Cleaner to join our Woodlands School team based in Edgware.
Location: Woodlands School, Edgware
Hours: 12.5 hours per week
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
This is an excellent opportunity to join our facilities team at Woodlands School, where you'll play a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, students, and visitors. As a Cleaner, you'll maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, contributing to the overall well-being and productivity of everyone who uses our facilities.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Cleaner, you'll be working within the facilities team, supporting them in maintaining exceptional standards across the school. Your day to day will include:
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal areas
- Cleaning and disinfecting washrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and refilling supplies
- Dusting surfaces and high-touch points such as door handles, light switches, and banisters
- Emptying waste bins, ensuring proper disposal, and maintaining outdoor areas free from litter
- Addressing spills and hazardous materials immediately to ensure a safe environment
What are we looking for?
This role of Cleaner is great for you if:
- You have strong attention to detail and can notice areas needing cleaning or maintenance
- You're able to organise tasks efficiently and work within allocated timeframes
- You enjoy collaborating with colleagues and communicate effectively with supervisors
- You're physically capable of performing manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- You're committed to following health and safety practices and maintaining high standards
