Cleaning Supervisor

We're looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our Facilities Management team based in Stone, Staffordshire.

Location: Based at Stone Fire Station, The Fillybrooks, Stone - expected to travel to all 11 sites across our Staffordshire Fire estate
Hours: Normally 8:00 – 16:30

Kier Places are recruiting now for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our Facilities Management team at Stoke and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue, which forms part of our PFI contract. This is an important role where you'll oversee cleaning operations across multiple sites, ensuring the highest standards are maintained while supporting and developing your team.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you'll be working within the Facilities Management team, supporting them in delivering exceptional cleaning services across the Staffordshire Fire estate. Your day to day will include:

• Creating and managing daily and periodic cleaning schedules for your team
• Ensuring all cleaning tasks meet the required standards and specifications
• Conducting stock checks, ordering consumables and maintaining accurate records
• Managing your team's annual leave and sickness absence, completing weekly timesheets
• Monitoring quality through monthly performance checks and reporting any issues or incidents

What are we looking for?

This role of Cleaning Supervisor is great for you if:

• You have cleaning experience and supervisory skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• You're self-motivated, work well under pressure and are flexible in carrying out a variety of tasks
• You possess basic numeracy and literacy skills along with IT literacy
• You hold a Full driving licence to travel between sites
• You have experience in carrying out cleaning audits (BICS qualification is desirable)
