Commissioning Manager
We're looking for a Commissioning Manager to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks Team on our Severn Trent Water Framework.
Location: Sheffield
Contract: Permanent- Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know
Responsibilities
As Commissioning Manager, you'll be responsible for commissioning activities covering a wastewater treatment works site. Within the role you'll develop and own the commissioning strategy, and develop and own with Severn Trent the project handover documentation on project completion.
Your day to day will include:
- Managing the commissioning team and engineers including the recruitment process with senior project team
- Working closely and collaboratively with the senior project team to develop efficient, practical and safe solutions throughout the programme into construction and beyond
- Review and manage the construction programme, mitigate delays and work with the team to achieve positive outcomes
- Ensure regulatory, legislative, HSE, company and end client standards are maintained throughout the delivery programme.
- Communicate and manage relationships both internal and external.
What are we looking for?
This role of Commissioning Manager is great for you if you hold:
- Proven track record in delivering large and multidiscipline MEICA projects and experience of planning the commissioning process
- Knowledge, understanding and experience in the water sector
- Be knowledgeable of the following: pumps/pipe systems, sludge, ozone generation systems, chemical dosing, water/wastewater treatment process equipment
- Experience of 3D modelling for commissioning engagement, planning, strategising review, etc. (not for model creation or design)
