Communications Manager
We're looking for a Communications Manager to be part of the Kier Transportation creative and communications team who will be responsible for the external communications across the business division
Location: Travel to sites/offices as and when required, this is a hybrid role and home location can be flexible
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?
As a Communications Manager, you'll be working within the Transportation Team, supporting them with all external communications.
Your day to day will include:
- Contribute to the delivery of the communications strategy, including planning ongoing activity to align with the communications strategy
- Contribute to the organisation and coordination of our external events outlined on our corporate awards and events schedule
- Work with senior stakeholders providing strategic counsel and external communications support
- Manage weekly and monthly reporting to ensure we're measuring and evaluating our activity
- Work with the creative team to produce appropriate external content for channel (e.g. video, gifs, etc)
What are we looking for?
This role of Communications Manager is great for you if:
- You have relevant experience in a similar role, such as communications, public affairs, customer relations or stakeholder liaison
- You have excellent writing skills, with the ability to take complex information and make it exciting and easy to understand
- You have experience of creating and delivering external communications strategies
- You're comfortable working with senior leaders, providing counsel and guidance on communication activities
- You have experience project managing multiple initiatives and work under pressure with pace and energy
