Planner

We're looking for a Planner to join our Wanlip Project team based in Leicestershire.

Location: Wanlip, Leicester – hybrid working available (3 days per week on site)
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday

What will you be responsible for?

As a Planner, you'll be working within the Wanlip Project team, supporting them in delivering capital upgrade works for Severn Trent Water. You'll collaborate with Project Managers and multi-disciplinary delivery teams to ensure programmes are developed, coordinated, and delivered to the highest standards.

What will your day to day look like?

Your day to day will include:

  • Leading planning for at least one major work package, creating programmes from first principles.
  • Supporting project teams by sequencing and scheduling works across Civil, Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
  • Producing programme narratives, reports and time slice documents for stakeholders and supply chain partners.
  • Using Primavera P6 and 4D planning tools to identify risks, interfaces, and support commercial forecasting.
  • Leading programme meetings and ensuring alignment across delivery, design and commercial teams.

What are we looking for?

This role of Planner is great for you if you have:

  • Experience working in a construction project environment, ideally under NEC contracts.
  • Strong planning and scheduling skills, with proficiency in Primavera P6.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and present effectively.
