Compliance Analyst

We're looking for a Compliance Analyst to join our Design team based in Nationwide. Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional looking for an opportunity to thrive in a collaborative environment? As a Compliance Analyst at Kier Design, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our projects run smoothly, supporting governance processes and maintaining accurate documentation across our 750-strong design business.

 

Location: Nationwide - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum + private healthcare + benefits

What will you be responsible for?

As a Compliance Analyst, you'll be working within the Project Governance team, supporting the Project Governance Lead with managing all aspects of project governance, reporting, and compliance activities across Kier Design.

 Your day to day will include:

  • Managing full project governance processes, including project setup/closure, fee documentation, monthly applications, and maintaining governance tools such as the ELF Tracker.
  • Supporting contract and commercial administration by preparing briefing statements, fee estimates, and resolving disallowed cost issues with project teams.
  • Coordinating stakeholder communication, including Early Warnings, Change Control, and ensuring smooth interaction between project teams and governance functions.
  • Tracking resource allocation, task progress, and ensuring accurate time and cost capture using systems like Vantagepoint.
  • Preparing reports for project meetings, maintaining compliant project documentation, and ensuring data accuracy for audits and governance reviews.

What are we looking for?

This role of Compliance Analyst is great for you if:

  • You have experience supporting project governance, reporting, or compliance activities within a similar environment.
  • Understanding of project lifecycle processes, including change control, applications, and cost tracking.
  • Ability to analyse project data, prepare governance reports, and maintain accurate audit-ready documentation.
  • An ability to confidently communicate relevant detail
